Overview

A Bundle (or Set) is a special type of product that consists of two or more separate items sold together as a single unit. For example, a “Summer Beach Kit” bundle might contain a towel, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Bundles allow you to offer package deals and increase your average order value without creating new physical stock. The system automatically tracks the inventory of a bundle based on the availability of its components.

Steps

Creating a New Bundle

To create a bundle, you first need to set up a new product and mark it as a “Set”.

1. Open **Products** from the main menu.
2. Click the **Add Product** button.
3. In the **General Info** section, find the **Product Type** field.
4. Select **Set** from the dropdown menu.
5. Fill in the **Name**, **SKU**, and **EAN** for the bundle.
6. Click **Save**.

Adding Components to a Bundle

Once you have created the bundle product, you need to link the items it contains.

1. Open the bundle product details.
2. Go to the **Components** tab.
3. Click the **Add Component** button.
4. Search for the product you want to add and select it.
5. Enter the **Quantity** of this product included in the bundle (e.g., "1").
6. Repeat for all products included in the bundle.
7. Click **Save Components**.

Managing Bundle Prices

You can set a fixed price for the bundle or use the Mass Update tool to set it based on the sum of component prices.

1. Open the **Mass Update** tool for your bundles.
2. Choose the **Price** field.
3. Use a calculation if needed (e.g., `sum(components.price) * 0.9` for a 10% bundle discount).
4. Click **Run Mass Update**.

**Note:** A bundle's inventory is typically calculated as the minimum quantity available among all its required components. If one component is out of stock, the entire bundle will show as out of stock.
