Overview

Marketplace Feeds enable bidirectional data exchange between {productName} and external sales channels. By using the Export Engine, you can generate formatted data feeds (XML, JSON, CSV) that marketplaces can consume to keep your product listings up to date.

1. Select Your Products

Use powerful filters to define exactly which products should be included in your feed.

1. Navigate to [navigate:/products|Products|package].
2. Use the [navigate:../api/where.md|Filter Playground|filter] to build your segment (e.g., `stock > 0 and visibility = 'visible'`).
3. Save this filter for use in your export configuration.

2. Configure the Export [navigate:/exports|Exports|file-text]

Create a dedicated export configuration for your target marketplace.

1. Go to **Exports** and click **Create**.
2. Select the **Entity** (e.g., Products) and the **Format** required by the marketplace (e.g., XML for Google Shopping).
3. Select the **Columns** to include in the feed.
4. Attach the saved filter from Step 1.

3. Map for the Marketplace

Most marketplaces require specific field names and formats. Use the Mapper in reverse mode to transform your data.

**Mapper Reversal:** {productName} automatically reverses your mapping rules to generate the correct external format.
1. Open the **Mapper** in your Export configuration.
2. Define the target paths (e.g., `g:id`, `g:title`, `g:price`) mapping to your internal fields.
3. Use **Expressions** for marketplace-specific transformations (e.g., prepending currency symbols).

4. Activate the Feed URL

Once configured, {productName} provides a unique, permanent URL for your feed.

1. Copy the **Feed URL** from the Export details page.
2. Provide this URL to the marketplace's merchant center or seller portal.
3. Set the **Frequency** for **Automatic Import** of any return data (like orders or status updates) to keep the sync bidirectional.

5. Monitor Feed Performance

Track the status of your feeds to ensure timely updates.
